The Supreme Court just issued a fractured decision that — while preserving abortion access in Louisiana for now — leaves the door open for anti-choice, anti-freedom politicians to redouble their efforts to undermine access to care and push even more legislation rolling back our reproductive freedom.
But there is a way to fight back: demand Congress pass federal abortion protections by holding a vote to pass the Women’s Health Protection Act (WHPA). Passing WHPA will ensure abortion rights and access are protected from all sorts of anti-choice restrictions, from state bans in Alabama and Missouri to TRAP laws like Lousiana's — and we need it urgently to uphold our fundamental freedoms.
Tell Congress we must hold a vote to pass the Women’s Health Protection Act:
As your constituent, I am calling on you to protect abortion rights and to expand access to everyone, no matter what state they live in. Please demand a vote on the Women’s Health Protection Act and encourage your colleagues to do the same.
